Dreaming  .  Subtle Differences 




Suspension
* (skepticism- epoché..) suspension of judgment: the act of refraining from any conclusion for or against anything as the decisive step for the attainment of ataraxy

* (chemistry..) mixture in which the solute particles do not dissolve, but get suspended throughout the bulk of the solvent, left floating around freely in the medium

Liminality
* a threshold phase characterised by uncertainty, possibility, marginality, and transformation
* a state of transition between one stage and the next, especially between major stages in one's life or during a rite of passage. ... In a general sense, liminality is an in-between period

A flickering space between the static frames of the moving film or the void between paragraphs; the nebulous space of feeling and transition between one thought and the next
